Award winning designer Peter Bachak has been creating beautiful interior and exterior spaces along Australia’s east coast for over 25 years. Working with many of Sydney’s top builders, contractors, developers and television renovation shows. With a strong emphasis on quality customer service, the majority of Osmosis’ clientele is generated from referrals, word of mouth and repeat business.
Founded in 2003, Osmosis was a vision to approach spacial design holistically, to truly merge interior and exterior spaces seamlessly to reflect not only how we relax and entertain, but how we live day to day. Peter has a realist design philosophy of form, function and lifestyle in balance. In addition to this design principal, Osmosis believes in a quality end-to-end customer service experience and can demystify the more puzzling stages of building, such as dealing with council and contractors.
In 2009 Peter decided to focus on expanding his experience by freelancing in a variety of industry related disciplines. During this time Peter worked with a luxury residential and commercial property developer, a pool and landscape construction company, and a well regarded landscape architecture studio. In late 2016, with a wealth of experience behind him, Peter re-launched Osmosis and is excited to return to his philosophy of creating beautiful tailored spaces that stimulate deep emotional responses in his clients by combining functional, aesthetic and evocative design solutions.
Peter regularly enjoys gardening and renovating at home and understands how to make pragmatic choices within a budget whilst still maintaining the original design intent. It’s this practical approach to design that creates stunning indoor/outdoor design solutions, converting ordinary spaces into spectacular and highly functional living areas.
